Peacock U13's reach National League Cup final
The local youngsters were defeated by Linfield in the Tesco Cup last month, but they will be hoping to get their hands on silverware when they play in the League Cup final later this month.
The Peacocks defeated St Oliver Plunkett’s 1-0 in the semi final last week.

Hide AdAfter drawing with Linfield last Monday night, the boys were more determined as they entered the semi final against Plunkett’s.
The game was only two minutes gone when Bertie’s boys opened the scoring.
Herald played in his striking partner Mitchell and the inform striker hit an unstoppable shot from eight yards.
Plunkett’s searched for an equaliser, but found Cassidy in goal hard to beat.

Hide AdAt the other end Bertie’s had a good effort saved by the keeper.
With ten minutes to go the Peacocks were dealt another blow - Lyndon Kane rose for a header only to be knocked in the face. The Coleraine Inst pupil is now ruled out for eight weeks after suffering a broken nose.
Gilmore replaced Kane and he was in the thick of the action straight away. Plunkett threw everything at the Peacocks, but could not break down a stubborn defence.
The League Cup final will take place in Crossgar on Saturday, May 29 - good luck boys!
