Firsts teach Queen’s lesson
After an exciting game Ballymoney came away as 4-2 winners. Ballymoney started out stronger with a well-saved drag flick after 10 mins. Susie Martin then put the home side ahead with a short cover strike after 25 minutes.
In the second half Ballymoney started out well again with a great flick over the keeper from Jan McGowan after a superb pass from sister Kate.

Hide AdA drag flick from Katie Mullan found the net 8 minutes into the second half putting them 3-0 ahead.
Queens then began to fight back into the game winning two short corners and scoring two goals from open play in just three minutes. Ballymoney soon stepped it up again and Kate Caithness hit the post.
With five minutes left the home side won four short corners. One of which found the net with a straight strike from Katie Mullan. The game finished as a 4-2 victory for the reigning league champions.
