Two men arrested for motoring offences after traffic lights crash

Two men have been arrested on a number of motoring offences following a crash at traffic lights in Portadown on Sunday afternoon.

The single vehicle collision took place at the junction of Armagh Road and Brownstown Road.

Police said the men, aged 32 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of number of offences including excess alcohol, dangerous driving and failing to remain. They were released on bail pending further enquiries.

The traffic lights were damaged in the incident.
