Slow progress of gym instructorsex case raised
The lawyer was speaking at Coleraine Magistrates Court last Monday regarding Aaron John Wright (38), of Captain Street Lower, who is charged with intentionally touching the woman, ‘the circumstances being that the touching was sexual, that she did not consent to the touching and you did not reasonably believe that she so consented’.
He is also charged with common assault against her and has a third charge of causing unnecessary suffering to a dog on the same date, December 27 last year.

Hide AdThe accused was present at court when his lawyer said it was the seventh time the case has been listed and he had not yet seen any documents from prosecutors.
A prosecutor said a decision has been made to prosecute but statements are still outstanding and papers in the case would be served soon. District Judge Liam McNally told the defence lawyer that the words from the prosecutor amounted to progress and the case was adjourned to later this month.
