Services back on at Shankill following repairs
There was an early start for the contractors, engineers and vestrymen today in an attempt to get the spire repaired.
Working at 53 metres (174ft) up the contractors have been successful in removing the weather vane.

The church had been closed since last weekend due to health and safety concerns over the weather vane, it had also forced the cancellation of the Salvation Army’s Carols For the People.
