Resurfacing scheme is welcomed by Beggs
East Antrim MLA Roy Beggs has welcomed news that Transport NI has commenced resurfacing work in the Glassillan and Carrickfern Gardens area of Greenisland.
Mr Beggs had called for the work in October 2015 due to deteriorating tarmac surfacing and trip hazards in the area.
“The new dropped kerb and resurfaced footpaths, together with the tarmacking of the roadway and carpark will reduce the risk of injury and enhance this important local shopping facility,” the UUP man said.
