Pedal in the Park
Individuals, groups and families with young children are invited to come to the ECOS Visitor & Conference Centre in Ballymena on Saturday, June 23 to follow a 5km traffic-free cycle ride within the park grounds.
Registration is Free and takes place between 12.00 and 3.00pm. All participants will receive cycling safety aids.

Hide AdOther activities on the day include Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and Balloon Modelling. All children are to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Launching the event Lindsay Dunlop, Ballymena Council’s Countryside & Access Officer, said ‘Ecos has an ideal network of safe paths waiting to be explored and I would encourage anyone with a bike to come along, bring the family and enjoy the day’.
In addition to the promoted event Ballymena Borough Council encourages parents, teachers and school children to consider cycling to school on Wednesday, June 20 as part of ‘Bike 2 School Day’, while regular drivers are being encouraged to switch from cars to pedal power on Friday, June 22, for the Travelwise ‘Bike to Work Day’.
Ballymena Borough Council acknowledges the financial support provided by Travelwise NI in the promotion of the Pedal in the Park event.
