New play park opens
The newly refurbished Whitehead playpark has opened to the public.
Funded by Carrickfergus Borough Council, GROW South Antrim and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the project was taken on by Ballynahinch-based All-Play, the firm behind the new-look Marine Gardens playpark.
The facility includes a coastal section for older children, including a pirate island and ship.
