Detached teams have been sent to anti-social behaviour hotspots in Portadown, Lurgan and Craigavon after weeks of vandalism at various community venues, such as Brownlow Hub and the library. At the weekend two young boys were attacked and robbed. One was a 12-year-old who suffered a stab wound. This afternoon a spokesperson for the Education Authority said: “Education Authority Youth Service staff along with our partners in the voluntary sector will be on the ground in various places over the next few weeks in detached teams to interact with and support young people over the extended mid term break. “At present we will have detached teams out throughout Portadown, Brownlow Area of Craigavon and Lurgan.
