Craigavon sets out its stall at Stormont
The event was organised by Craigavon Borough Council as part of its ‘Craigavon Means Business’ initiative, which aims to profile the key agri-food, health and life sciences sectors in the Craigavon business community. Guests got to hear from Moy Park, from Almac Group, one of Northern Ireland’s most successful pharmaceutical development companies, and Andrew Morgan, Founder of Edenballycoggill Workshop.
Councillor Colin McCusker, Mayor of Craigavon, said: “We have the highest percentage of agri-food and drink businesses per sq mile/ per capita of any other region in Northern Ireland, for example, and some of the largest employers in Northern Ireland are based in the borough.”
