Ballyclare couple raise £2,400 for Hospice
The hospice cared for Nigel’s late wife and father, and also greatly supported the family circle during their illnesses.
With first hand experience of their unique specialist service, Nigel and Florence decided to request donations in lieu of wedding gifts to commemorate Nigel’s late wife and his father whilst helping to ensure that hospice care is available for other local families who need it, both now and in the future.

“Requesting donations in lieu of wedding gifts was a meaningful way for them to support Hospice which will greatly help us to grow and develop our service.
“Nigel is a committed day hospice volunteer who knows just how much we rely on community support and how this substantial donation will make an immense difference to the lives of our patients and their families.
“On behalf of Northern Ireland Hospice I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to them for their support and to wish them every future happiness.”
