Teenager quizzed over town assault

A TEENAGER is being quizzed by police over an assault in Cookstown early on Friday morning.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was taken to Antrim Area Hospital with serious head injuries.

The incident happened outside the Railway Bar on Union Street in the town.

Police have asked witnesses to contact the CID in Cookstown. The number to call is 0845 600 8000, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
