A COUPLE of festivals, a few years on the best music enhancement course around, countless gigs and a few radio appearances to boot and she's not long into her 18th year. But it hasn't stopped her setting up a musical residency in her jaunty local establishment.
Oonagh Clarke, with a different friend/musician, will comandeer the top half of the Cellar Bar in Draperstown every Sunday night from about 8pm with a mixture of just about everything that can be played on the guitar.
This week she's joined by the equally enigmatic Junior Johnson - no stranger to the area and someone who plys his trade masterfully wherever he goes.
All too often we're advised to see a performer now before they break away and become huge, and to be honest most of the time the words are lies. But as far as the wealth of talent bubbling under the Mid-Ulster surface at the moment is concerned - Oonagh Clarke joins the tip of a very ominous iceberg.
